School Buses are run by SFUSD’s transportation department. You must apply through SFUSD’s website if your child needs to ride the school bus. If your child has an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) you can request their IEP Transportation Services; otherwise you can request their General Education Transportation Services.

The bus schedule is approximate and the stop times could vary by 5-10 minutes. Please refer to the ZUM app (App Store | Google Play) for the live tracking of the bus.
My child is currently riding the school bus, do we need to re-apply for the new school year?
- Students who are registered and currently riding the bus in the 2022-23 School Year, who will be attending the same school for the 2023-24 school year can continue to ride the bus and do not need to re-apply.
- Students who are transferring to another school that has GE transportation available must re-apply and be approved before they can ride the bus to the new school. If they are approved, they can continue using the same ridership card for the new route.
Application for 2023-24 will be available from May 1 – July 14, 2023. Seats can limited so don’t wait till last minute. For 2023-24, the school bus stops are (subject to change):

- 1520 Oakdale Ave (Leola Havard EES)
- 1174 Jamestown Ave
- 300 Seneca Ave (San Miguel EES)
July 25th: Notifications The Transportation Department will notify all families requesting general education transportation services whether their request has been approved or denied. Please contact the SFUSD Transportation Department at (415) 695-5505 with any questions.
