Our next PTA meeting was originally scheduled for February 1, but has been postponed to February 8.
Both meetings will be in the Community Room. As of Feb. 7, there will be child care provided. We are checking on snacks for kids and will post updates here.
5:45 PM – Room Parents
Room parents, you are the glue between the parents and teachers in the classrooms and the PTA. Many of you are the more involved parents at school. Thank you for stepping up.
Please join us at 5:45 to learn about Spring 2017 activities at Lakeshore and the help that is needed. We have a lot planned and can’t do it without you!
7:00 PM – General Meeting
We will hold a shortened General meeting at 7 PM to review upcoming Spring activities and Executive Board elections.
Then, Ryan Mitsuhashi (Mr. M) will be hosting a Q&A Session about Special Education at Lakeshore. He gave a brief intro at the December meeting, but this is your chance to learn the names of the staff and what each of them does for so many of our students.

Because of parent and staff efforts, we made lots of things happen in the Fall 2016 semester: 2 Kid’s Nights Out, 4 First Friday Coffee and Donuts days, the Walk-a-thon, Halloween festival with pumpkin prizes, a blowout Election Day bake sale, Middle School info night and Puberty Ed presentation at our last two meetings, Staff Appreciation luncheon, Holiday Pledge Drive, and 6 tours. Whew! Thank you to all of you who participated and supported.
