This year proved that Lakeshore is growing into a community powerhouse. Thank you to everyone who participated. Your generosity allows us to continue to provide a stellar enrichment program.

You absolutely crushed our goal of $64,000!☺️ What a great way to begin the year.
📅Because we reached our goal, we earned a school-wide dance party on Friday, October 26. Tentatively, grades K-2 will celebrate from 1:40-2:25pm and grades 3-5 from 2:35-3:20pm.
💡Email pta@LakeshoreElementary.org with your ideas on how to use the surplus funds, or share your ideas in person at our PTA meetings. The next PTA meeting is this Thursday, October 18 at 6pm. Now let’s get to the classroom prizes!
🍕A Principal’s Pizza Party will be awarded to these 3 classes with the highest participation:
🎈Mrs. Wu, 70.0%
🎈Ms. Angela, 72.7%
🎈Ms. Jordan, 90.5%
💵And also to the classes with the highest amounts raised in grade groups:
- SDC: Ms. Klein, $1,235
- 4th and 5th grade: Mr. Gonzalez, $5,546
- 3rd grade: Mrs. Fusscas, $3,203.50
- 2nd grade: Mr. Joseph, $4,475
- 1st grade: Ms. Hopper, $18,955
- Kinder: Ms. Fernandez, $20,795
Your specific classroom details were emailed to your class email lists. We may have missed parents who provided updated contact information in the last couple weeks so please share with anyone didn’t receive the class email, and we will add them soon.
🌟Shout out to a few other classes who didn’t place but did an amazing job raising over $3800 or more: Ms. Palacio, Ms. Kelsey, Ms. Egan-Bell, and Ms. Tyler.
🌟Kudos to Mr. Gonzalez’s fifth-grade class who had 16 kids participate. It can be a challenge to motivate upper-grade students and families, but this class tied for the second highest number of kids participating!
🌟Finally, hats off to the 10 families who got 4 donors and 6 families who got between 5 and 9 donors. Special recognition to Stacey Rivera who got 19 donors to help Lakeshore!
