Morning Spanish Program

Manos is a local Spanish and Art studio for kids in the Outer Sunset, San Francisco. They strive to provide real-life, inquiry-based, art explorations in nature while learning Spanish. They have adopted a program for Lakeshore to bring that same ethos to build a morning Spanish program.  They strive to create a space where children can learn (Spanish) through experiences while fostering their curiosity and independence.

Manos’ Spanish program features a heavy emphasis on oral comprehension for younger students – classes are conducted primarily in Spanish using songs, visuals, art, and skits to help students to listen and watch for sounds and language structures. Older students will learn grammar and focus on vocabulary as they build practical conversational skills. As they progress, students will learn sentences in the past, present, and future tenses. The program can be adapted to meet the needs of individual students and can provide a variety of in-class experiences for different age levels.

Manos runs from 8/26/24 to 5/31/25; 8-9:10am. You can choose 2-day (Wed and Fri) or 5-day option. If you have further questions please contact Edurne Diaz (edurnediaz@gmail.com | 415-595-5130) or visit their website.

After School Weekly Programs

The following programs are available once a week and run sessions that last about 2-3 months. The idea is that you don’t have to commit to them the entire school year, and also can let your child(ren) try different classes through out the year. We will post registration information for each new session through out the year on ParentSquare (Schoolwide Bulletin Board) and our weekly newsletter (Paw Print Press) as soon as we heard from our providers. This page may not be up to date for sessions that started after the beginning of the school year, but day and time will remain the same, fees can change slightly depending how many classes were offered in the session.
