Everyday Magic Basketball
Join us for our mini camp “Fall into Basketball”. We will meet Wed. and Thurs. after school 3:35 – 5:45, starting Sept.28 for 6 weeks. Come work with our professional coaches. Watch for our fliers coming home this week. Scholarships are available. For more information call 415-681-9168.

begins Sept.21. Please join us for the parent training/breakfast on Sept.16 @ 9:45 in our studio#13. We need parent volunteers to assist our artists in residence. Notices went home to parents for classes in this session. All are welcome. Thanks, Sharon Collins
Sign up to be a Room Parent!
Are you interested in playing an active role if your child’s classroom? Are you just great with organizing parties? Do you want to help make your child’s experience in the classroom the best it can be? Then YOU are the perfect candidate! Room Parents are needed in every classroom. We provide assistance to the teachers in several areas such as planning parties, compiling class directories, and acting as a liaison to the class families. The Room Parent sign-up sheets will be sent home within the week. Don’t hesitate on becoming a Room Parent since there can be several per class! -Julie Lin, Room Parent Coordinator
Join the PTA!
Welcome back to Lakeshore! We have a great year ahead of us. Enrichment programs (gardening, art, motor perception, drama, gym, yoga, etc.) will start soon. Events like the school-wide picnic, multicultural night, and Halloween are just around the corner. These are just some of the PTA funded and coordinated events planned for the year. PTA membership forms will be sent home shortly. We ask that every family contribute to the PTA this year. Your donations are needed to continue to provide these programs and events which benefit ALL of our children and families. There are several donation options available to meet everyone’s needs. Please be as generous as you are able. PTA meetings are open to everyone! However, your attendance is optional. We are grateful for your participation! -Julie Lin, Membership Chair
Wanted!
The refrigerator in the teacher’s lounge did not survive the move… its not working at all. Also, somehow the microwave walked out of there yesterday or the day before. So, we wanted to ask if anyone has a full size refrigerator and/or microwave they’d like to donate.
Piano Classes
Piano classes will be available to the students of Lakeshore starting on Monday, August 31, 2009 at 3:35 p.m. to 4:35 p.m. There will be Ten (one hour Lessons) conducted in the Multi Purpose Room. All books/materials are furnished free with this course. Class fee for this course is $130.00 per session, per child. All grades are accepted. This course is ongoing throughout the school year!
