Harvest Festival Countdown
The Harvest Festival is only 11⁄2 weeks away!! So many fun activities are planned. It will be a fun filled day. But we need your help to make this a success.
- Please sign up to help with your class booth.
- If you are interested in cleaning out your closets, we are collecting gently wore children’s clothing and books for our rummage sale. You can drop off your donation in the barrel located in the lobby of the school. Items left in and around the bin are for the rummage sale so please do not take anything from this area.
- Please donate baked goods for our Bake Sale. We are looking for cookies, cup cakes and more.
- We would love some extra arts & craft supplies such as glitter, paint, googly eyes, gems and beads. A donation box will be placed in the lobby.
- We are looking for companies to sponsor our Harvest Festival. This sponsorship will help us cover the expense for the rock wall and obstacle course. If you know of a business that may be interested in be a sponsor please let me know at julie@acromaxnetworks.com. Advertising opportunities are available!
Scarecrow-Making Project
We are having a school wide Scarecrow Making Project. Each class will make a scarecrow using only recycled materials. These creative scarecrows will be displayed at the Harvest Festival. Look for more information on how to help with this and your class booth from the Room Parents!
Harvest Festival Food-Bank Donations
Tickets for the festival will be sold onsite during the event. In support of our community, Lakeshore will be collecting non-perishable foods (canned and dried foods) for the San Francisco Food Bank. Families who bring in food donations will received extra tickets as a bonus. Please no expired foods! Email me if you have any questions. Thanks! Julie Lin
PTA Pledge
Send in your PTA pledges! We are asking for 100% participation from our community. Donations can also be made through our website: Just click on the “Donate” button to make a payment via our PayPal account. The funds we raise will help Lakeshore to continue providing Art, Drama, Gardening, Motor Perception and so much more. -Julie Lin

Thank You!
A very big thank you to Melanie Vose, Dave Stockett, and Henry Stockett in Rm M-1 for the generous gift of a brand new beautiful clean rug for our class. Also thanks to Mr. M for assisting with pick-up and delivery. 🙂
Reminders
Please remember to label all of your child’s personal items including coats, backpacks and lunch boxes. Frequently check the Lost & Found by the cafeteria. Continue to check periodically if the item is not found right away. Sometimes it takes a few days for volunteers and custodians to round up the items from the school yards. If your child brings home an article that is not his or hers, please return it to the Lost & Found.
