SCRIP
Raise money for Lakeshore without spending an additional penny!
Stock up for Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales! – Orders submitted by 10/22 will be delivered by 11/5. – Orders submitted by 11/5 will be delivered by 11/19.
A scrip order form and retailer list will come home with your child, but you can also download these from https://lakeshoreelementary.org under “Forms & Documents.” Copies are also available in the school office.
Scrip means “substitute money” (aka gift certificates) from national and local retailers. They’re the same gift cards or gift certificates that you buy at the store. Participating retailers agree to sell gift certificates to our school at a discount. Families like yours buy (and redeem) the certificates for full face value, and our school keeps the difference as revenue. The beauty of scrip is that you put your regular household shopping dollars to work. Scrip can be used for just about any household purchase including food, clothing, entertainment, gasoline, and dining out. Questions? Contact Tess Napili
