Announcements – November 16

Reminders
Mindful Teaching and Learning – Did you know that mindfulness is a conscious, purposeful way of tuning in to what’s happening in and around us. This specific approach to paying attention and honing awareness improves mental focus and academic performance. It also strengthens skills that contribute to emotional balance. – Ms. Keener

Student Pick up – This is a reminder that students who are being picked up at dismissal are to wait on the bench outside of the Community Room on the upper yard. Please help our teachers and staff keep dismissal time orderly and safe for all students by following this procedure. If you are picking up your child and would like to spend a few minutes outside on the structure, we appreciate you waiting until all of our students who are bus riders have boarded the bus. Your cooperation is appreciated! – Ms. Keener

Student Absences – If your child is ill, remember to call the school office at 75-2825 and report his/ her absence. Send a note with him/her when he/she returns to school. Please keep your child home if he/she is ill. – Ms. Keener

Please remember to label all of your child’s personal items including coats, backpacks and lunch boxes. Frequently check the Lost & Found by the cafeteria. Continue to check periodically if the item is not found right away. Sometimes it takes a few days for volunteers and custodians to round up the items from the school yards. If your child brings home an article that is not his or hers, please return it to the Lost & Found.

Fridays are Lakeshore Spirit Days. The Lakeshore Leopards School Colors are Red, Black, and White.
