MealpayPlus
The Lakeshore cafeteria is now using a prepayment program called MealpayPlus that will speed up lunch lines, eliminate the need for children to carry cash to school, and increase convenience for families. You may prepay for your students’ school meals by the month, by the week or in the amount that you choose.
Register at www.mealpayplus.com and prepay by credit card, debit card or electronic check online or by phone. To register, just use your student’s ID number, or H0 number, which is on report cards, address labels and other school material (or request it from the school office staff). Families may also pay by check or cash at school, or may choose to send checks by mail.
MealpayPlus will also allow families, including those who qualify for free meals, to view your students’ history of purchases in the cafeterias. – Ms. Keener
Literacy Thanks
A big thanks to all the “Literacy” volunteers for a great few weeks of reading and literary fun. Thanks to Bookfair Chair Helen Chae-Lau and all her helpers for raising approximately $3000 in Scholastic Book Sales. Thanks to Mary Hagen and her Literacy Night Crew for a fun-packed literary night of poetry and reading and writing. Thanks to Ken Alexander and Josie Ramos and all their readers for raising over $7000. The kids clearly loved it, and boy what a way to raise money that comes directly back to our kids. All while reading, reading, reading! – Megumi Fuse (PTA President)
Lost & Found
Please pick up your children’s lost clothing from the Lost & Found clothes rack located in the school lobby. All remaining items will be donated to the Arc of San Francisco on May 28, 2010. The Arc of San Francisco is a non-profit 501c3 organization founded in 1951 to serve, support and advocate for individuals with developmental disabilities. Thank you, Lyn Bradshaw
