Progress Reports
Progress Reports will be sent home today with your child. Please review the reports with your child and have a discussion with him/her. Remember to keep the conversation positive by:
1. Praising your child strengths.
2. Celebrate improvement.
3. Set realistic goals both short and long term.

Spring Auction Meeting
Our biggest fundraiser, the SPRING AUCTION, is nearing. Our first planning meeting will be on Sat., Jan. 23 from 1-4pm. Please RSVP: fuse@sfsu.edu and I will send you details of the location of the meeting. If you cannot make it but would like to volunteer (big or small jobs), please contact Megumi Fuse fuse@sfsu.edu. The revenues from the Spring Auction are essential to ensure the continuation of the enrichment programs, including poetry, art, theater, yoga, gardening, music, and so many more. Please do your part for this school by volunteering your time to this very important event. – Megumi Fuse (PTA President)
Join the PTA
Did you know that 100% of the funds raised by the PTA go directly back to your children? Money raised by the PTA is used to pay the enrichment consultants who run such programs like art, motor, drama, gardening and more. We need your generous contribution to continue these programs next year. We are facing huge budget cuts and many of these beloved programs will be affected. Please consider making a donation to the PTA today.
PTA Pledge forms can be downloaded from our website. You can also make a donation directly through the Fundraising page on our website. Here you can click on the Donate button to be directed our PayPal site which accepts most charge cards. All donations made by charge cards will be processed through our PayPal account. Thank you – Julie Lin, PTA Membership Chair
A Very important Meeting For Lakeshore!
The ADA upgrades that Lakeshore is undergoing have an upside you may not know about: we have $150,000 to spend on bringing outside improvements to our school! These improvements can include everything from picnic tables, outdoor shelters, a beautiful edible garden, outdoor art, a new greenhouse, an outdoor classroom, water features, a treehouse, plants for the front of the school and more. What do YOU want for your school? Your input will make a difference! We have already had one meeting where parents, guardians and children talked about what they wanted for our school and voted on many proposals. We are having another design meeting where we will decide what we want for our school, how we want it to look and how WE want to spend our money. This is your school. These are important decisions that you can help make for our school. Please be a part of it! The next Green School Yard design meeting is January 26th at 6:00 – 8:30 PM. Be there! – The Site Council
