World AIDS Commemoration week
Monday, November 30, 2009 through Friday, December 4, 2009 We are fortunate to be one of the schools who are hosting the Names Project Quilt Display. The quilt will be on display in the community room this week. All classes will sign up for an opportunity to view the quilt with an explanation of the history and significance of the quilt.

ADA NEWS
Classrooms currently in the temporary ADA bungalows are getting packed and ready to move back into their newly remodeled classrooms. This means that the library, rooms 9 (RSP/Speech), 13 (Studio Art Room), and 15 (Ms. Barry) are getting packed and ready to move out to their temporary bungalow! The move will occur the weekend of Saturday, December 12th. We are looking forward to completing this move and eagerly awaiting the completion of the ADA school improvements. – Ms. Keener
The AIDS Memorial Quilt
In honor of World AIDS Day on December 1st, our school will be host a panel from the Names Project AIDS Memorial Quilt from Monday, November 30th-Friday December 4th in the Community Room. The Quilt is a symbol of the epidemic that continues to claim lives in the United States and around the world. It offers communities a message of remembrance, awareness, and hope. Fall PTA Pledge Drive
Fall PTA Pledge and Raffle is coming to an end! However, if you have not yet turned in your PTA Pledge you can still be entered into the raffle if you turn in your pledge this week! One lucky winner will win the new iPod Nano! Winner will be announced during morning assembly on Monday, December 7th! Are you feeling lucky? Turn in your pledge today!

American Samoa Tsunami education Fund
Thanks to everyone for their donation to the Tsunami Samoa Education Fund. We had raise $363.85 at Lakeshore Elementary. It was sent to Samoa Development Community Center through Well Fargo Account. This money will be use for American Samoa Education Fund. We really appreciate all you did for us, and again Faafetai Lava (thank you) for your support. – Ms. Mao
