Congratulations on your placement at Lakeshore Elementary School. We welcome you and your family to our diverse community. Your child will soon enjoy a rich curriculum with our wonderful classroom teachers in a beautiful natural environment. They will participate in several creative enrichment programs and explore a wide variety of gardens that provide science curriculum opportunities as well as experiential learning.
You will be receiving a letter with details about Orientation in June. For now, the Lakeshore PTA welcomes you to attend a series of summer playdates and welcome events.
- Summer Playdates
- Sunday, July 12, 11-2 PM at Junipero Serra Playground
- Saturday, Aug 15, 11-2 PM on the Kindergarten yard at Lakeshore
- New Family Orientation – Thursday, Aug 13 from 6-7:30 PM
- This is an orientation for all new families where you will get your classroom assignment.
- Kindergarten parents and students will meet their teachers.
- All other new families will be able to tour the school and peek into their classrooms.
- This is an event for all family members – siblings are welcome!

- Science Fair – Wednesday, March 25 from 6-8 PM in the Community Room
- New Family Tour – Friday, March 27 from 10-11:30 AM
- Superhero Saturday – Saturday, April 25 from 11-3 PM at Lakeshore
- New Family Welcome – Friday, May 8 at 5:30 PM on the Kindergarten yard followed by the annual Multicultural Potluck at 6 PM
- Kid’s Night Out – Friday, May 15 from 6-9:30 PM in the Community Room
